amplitude is a leading product analytics platform that helps companies build better products by understanding user behaviour with amplitude, organizations can analyze user interactions, track key events, and measure product adoption to make data driven decisions about their product roadmap the platform provides powerful tools for segmentation, funnel analysis, retention tracking, and behavioural cohorts for customer success managers, amplitude offers significant advantages by providing deep insights into how customers are actually using your product these insights can identify potential churn risks, adoption barriers, and opportunities for expansion, enabling csms to take proactive actions based on actual usage data rather than anecdotal feedback the analytics provided by amplitude help teams understand which features drive value, how different customer segments engage with the product, and where users might be struggling all crucial information for csms working to ensure customer satisfaction and success what can you do with amplitude in custify import user behavioural data from amplitude to enrich your customer profiles in custify track product usage events and user properties to understand how customers interact with your product build customer segments based on product usage patterns identified in amplitude define lifecycle stages based on tracked events and usage milestones create automated alerts and tasks for csms when certain usage patterns are detected link customers to their respective companies using a configurable company id trait in the integration settings build custom health scores and metrics that incorporate product usage data from amplitude how does amplitude work with custify? amplitude sends user identification and event data to custify via webhooks when a user takes an action in your product that amplitude tracks, this data can be automatically sent to custify to update the customer's profile this integration supports both individual events and batch processing, ensuring efficient data transfer even for high volume applications customer records are matched between systems using the amplitude user id as the external identifier activation 1\ sign in to your custify account and navigate to settings > https //app custify com/settings/integrations 2\ click on amplitude > activate integration 3\ copy the custify webhook url and the webhook secret key 4\ in your amplitude account, navigate to data > destinations in the left sidebar 5\ in the event streaming section, find and click on webhook 6\ enter a name for your sync, such as "custify integration" 7\ enter the webhook url you copied from custify 8\ under headers, add a header named "x custify secret" and set its value to the secret key you copied from custify 9\ configure event forwarding according to your needs you can send all events or filter specific ones send the events as the default payload 10\ similarly, configure user forwarding to send user profile data to custify 11\ enable the sync by toggling the status to "enabled" and click save for more detailed information on setting up webhooks in amplitude, refer to the https //amplitude com/docs/data/destination catalog/webhooks integration settings in custify the amplitude integration in custify offers several configuration options company id trait you can specify which user attribute from amplitude contains the company id by configuring the "company id trait" setting when this attribute is present in the customer data, custify will automatically link the customer to the corresponding company for example, if your amplitude user profiles contain a custom attribute named "organization id" that represents the company id, you can set "company id trait" to "organization id" custify will then use this value to establish the customer company relationship create new customers by default, the integration will create new customer records in custify when users from amplitude are not already in your custify database if you'd prefer to only update existing customers and not create new ones, you can disable the "create new customers" option things to keep in mind amplitude events are forwarded by amplitude to the custify webhook endpoint and then processed by custify and stored in your account database when batch processing is used, all events in the batch are processed individually, with a summary response returning success/failure statistics if you've configured a company id trait, make sure this attribute is consistently populated in your amplitude user profiles to ensure proper company associations after enabling the integration, custify will begin importing all the new amplitude events generated from that point onward historical amplitude data from before the integration won't be available in custify through this integration for best performance, consider filtering your amplitude events to only send the most relevant ones to custify and customer success activities, especially if you have a high volume of events
