Health scores are green, but the Global Health Score is red – why?

you may observe that although all the https //kb custify com/health scores that you set for a customer are green, the global health score is red when you have a situation like this, you need to figure out how the health scores are divided into worst best values and green, yellow, and red thresholds health scores may have very different best/worst scales (e g , one health score may have 0 as the lowest and 10 as the highest, and another health score may have a scale from 0 to 100, or the scale may be reversed so that 100 is the worst and 0 is the best), so the normalized value of the health score, rather than its actual numerical value, is considered in calculating the ghs to aggregate these scores this ultimately means that each health score is converted into a percentage of completion based on where the measured metric falls on the scale between worst and best example i have two health scores, both with medium impact on the global health score (read more about the ghs calculation here) health score 1 called employees; worst value = 0; best value = 50 red = <5 yellow = >5 and <10 green = >10 health score 2 called csm rating; worst value = 1; best value = 5 red = <1 yellow = >1 and <2 green = >2 i have the company d , which has the following values for the health scores employees = 12; therefore the first health score is green csm rating = 2; therefore, the second health score is also green the global health score is the reason for this is the way the global health score is calculated for each health score, the system generates an absolute value by calculating the percentage of fulfillment employees health score for company d = (current value – worst value)/ (best value – worst value) = (12 0)/ (50 0) = 24% csm rating health score for company d = (current value – worst value)/ (best value – worst value) = (2 1)/ (5 1)= 25% since both health scores are weighed the same (medium), the health score is the average of the two percentages = 25% in the global health score distribution, this value is considered bad ultimately, this situation is caused by the fact that the distribution of healthy, average, and unhealthy values in the two health scores is quite unbalanced to avoid this situation (which could be confusing), it is recommended that you adjust the scores so that you have a reasonably even distribution of what you consider unhealthy, healthy, and average observation! if a value of a certain attribute exceeds the best value in the health score, the % of completion that is considered when calculating the global health score is 100% therefore, this will not artificially increase the health score of the companies
